Dispute/Chargeback System

This projected aimed to streamline and automate the entire dispute and chargeback system.

I was technical lead of a small development team assigned the project and programmer. I was responsible for understanding the financials of the banking systems, current processes and the risks associated with the new system. I designed and assisted with the development of a generic dispute system that will cater for BankServ ATM disputes, MasterCard chargebacks, and On-Us transactions. Together with the core banking system, we developed a generic API that allowed the dispute system to send payment instructions to the banking system in an efficient and secure manner.
